Caelia began dancing at Juliette’s Dance Centre at the age of eight. She completed two C.D.T.A. jazz exams over the course of the next four years, and began dancing hip hop. Her introduction to ballet occurred late when she was twelve years old, but she has loved it ever since. She has completed five R.A.D. exams to date, the most recent being her Advanced Foundation exam last spring. She has continued mildly with jazz, hip hop, lyrical, modern and musical theatre over the years, but her main passion remains ballet.

 

Her introduction to teaching began as an assistant three years ago, helping Mme Juliette Perrey-Perez with Intermediate Ballet, Junior Allegro and Adult Beginner Ballet classes. Her interest in teaching dance grew with assisting over the years, as she took on more responsibilities and more classes. Her involvement in the studio increased when she began work in the office at the same time.

 

Teaching her first year at Juliette’s, Caelia is very excited for the new season and the new faces. She is looking forward to a full year of dancing, assisting and teaching, hopefully for many years to come.
